Eating With Us
On January the 8th we are closing for 5 weeks to begin work on some exciting changes to our restaurant. We are opening again on Friday 8th February. Whilst ‘closed’ we are still very much ‘open’ behind the scenes, taking bookings and handling all enquiries.
Our kitchen serves modern British food that highlights the best locally sourced ingredients in our relaxing restaurant that has a Scandi/New England feel.

Everything is homemade. From freshly baked banana bread to bircher muesli. We even make our own bacon. Locals welcome.
LUNCH & DINNER
We serve locally sourced food that is prepared with love and care using only what’s at its best. We try and keep things simple without any undue fussiness but with great attention to detail. Most of our ingredients come from within 15 miles of us. A lot is also foraged.
BAR AND RESTAURANT REFURBISHMENTS
We are very excited about our new bar and restaurant that is going to be unveiled over the coming weeks. We think it’s a huge improvement – lots more room, a stunning bar, bigger restaurant and beautiful private dining rooms. We are looking forward to showing you around in 2018.
15 MILE MENU
We source virtually all our fresh ingredients from within 15 miles of us. We are committed to sourcing from local fishermen and farmers. The quality of their produce is remarkable and it’s an environmentally sustainable model.

The beach is a three minute walk from our front door. Hidden behind towering grass fringed dunes it is one of the loveliest sandy beaches in Southern England. Spectacular at all times of the year, a walk on its pristine sands is the perfect antidote to life’s stresses and strains.
We are proud to have been awarded Gold Star status by the Sustainable Restaurant Association for our holistic approach to sourcing, our impact on local society and the environment.
We are one of only 70 or so restaurants in the UK to have this accreditation.
