A full day workshop where you will experience first-hand the art of Life Drawing with the assistance of one of its masters, Royal Academy of Arts graduate Michael Kirkbride.

Join Michael (scroll to the bottom of this page for his bio), a senior lecturer and graduate of one of the country’s most prestigious art schools, to experience Life Drawing as a beginner or even as an experienced artist. Michael will guide you through the skills needed for both long and short poses with a live model, whist offering his insights and tips.

Michael Kirkbride is a British painter living in London. He earned a degree in Fine Art from Sunderland Polytechnic, followed by a postgraduate course at the Royal Academy Schools London. The human figure is the dominant structural motif within his work.

This workshop includes a 2-course lunch in the Dining Room, made with local and fresh ingredients. The day will conclude with an opportunity to review both your own, and fellow attendees work with your teacher.
