Part of our new Wellness Series, this retreat will be focused around yoga practices and self-massage.

Join Union Station Yoga teacher, Katy Bateman, for a nourishing 3-day yoga retreat at The Gallivant to deepen your connection to yourself, to nature and to a community of like-minded people.

Throughout the three days, we’ll explore a range of yoga styles, learn healing self-massage techniques and find deep rest with a mindful Yoga Nidra practice. Katy’s fun approach to movement and emphasis on community, will make for a joyful few days building relationships and a connection to both yourself and others. The perfect winter well-being retreat!

This three day escape is designed to replenish your energy levels with special menus of delicious, locally sourced food, mindful yoga and meditation practices, and beautiful sunset walks on the beach to soak up the ocean air.

Only a short trip 90 minute train or drive from London, retreat will be a deeply nourishing few days of self-care and reflection – a true gift to your heart and wellbeing.

In order to ensure your safety and maintain physical distancing guidelines, we will be keeping the group size small. The yoga practise will be accessibe to all levels of students, beginners are more than welcome!

About Katy

Katy’s classes are creative, playful and dynamic. Using the principles of Anusara Yoga, she emphasises proper use of breath and alignment to encourage a safe and playful practice. Katy’s teaching inspires connection so expect some fun partner work to take your practice deeper.

Like many yogis, Katy initially started practising as a means of exercise, and to find a place to escape the hustle and bustle of living in a busy city – but very quickly fell in love with the feelings of balance, strength and serenity yoga instills. Katy is blessed to have studied with many wonderful teachers, and is especially grateful for the teaching and constant guidance from her teacher Bridget Woods-Kramer, with whom she gained her 200hr certification, and is currently completing her Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. Through her practice, Katy has learned to be more spiritually and emotionally in tune with herself, and the world around her.
