ClementineEvents Assistant

I moved from London to Rye a year ago with my fiancée, my daughter and Bluey the dog for the “beach lifestyle”! We definitely haven’t looked back since. I was working at University College School in Hampstead prior to moving, in Event and Facility Management, and prior to that at Central YMCA as Front of House (Operations) Manager for 3 years – where I met Dan! We love kayaking, swimming, the outdoor lifestyle and will visit the beach most days.

Living on the South Coast and working with a fantastic team at an incredible property, combines all of my passions. EltonHead Waiter

I was born 37 years ago in Brazil before moving to Italy aged 22 to play futsal. There I met my wife Anna, and we now have 2 beautiful children. I started working in hospitality 10 years ago and I love my job because of my passion for being around other people. Three years ago I moved to England to improve the lives of my family. I hold respect, education and honesty as the most important values in life.

I always wanted to own a restaurant from as long as I could remember, so when a restaurant with 20 bedrooms by the best beach I can think of became available, I jumped. What started as a whim has become a mission. It’s not rocket science. Create lovely places my wife and I would want to stay in, places that make you genuinely happy and perhaps even inspire you to be a slightly better version of yourself in the future. The Gallivant in Camber is just the start.
