We don’t ask for any service charge or tips. The price on the menu is all you pay. We think this is a fairer way to do things. We were the first restaurant in the country to do this.
10 MILE MENU
We source virtually all our fresh ingredients from within 15 miles of us. We are committed to sourcing from local fishermen and farmers. The quality of their produce is remarkable and it’s an environmentally sustainable model.
We are proud to have been awarded Gold Star status in 2015 by the Sustainable Restaurant Association for our holistic approach to sourcing, our impact on local society and the environment.
On June 19th Damian Clisby, Executive Head Chef of Petersham Nurseries, is coming to the Gallivant to cook for one night only.
A dinner that will be celebrating one of our most prized local ingredients, new season Romney salt marsh lamb.
Our new menu launched in early March utilises everything that is grown and lives near by and is literally often just picked or caught.
Like all our menus 95% of the fresh ingredients are sourced within 15 miles of us, using extremely fresh, often hours picked or caught ingredients.
