Food for thought

Fish and seafood don’t have far to travel. We often know the fishermen. All our meat comes from small British farmers who share our passion, the same as our fruit and veg, a lot sourced very locally. And at the right time a lot is foraged, from local hedgerow, foreshore and wood.

Yes chef

Meet Jamie, our head chef. His menus are delicious, wholesome and healthy. Above all, everything he cooks is exquisitely simple, a lot cooked over an open fire. Increasingly a greater emphasis on everything from the sea and more plant based. He’s often out and about so do say hi.

Local heroes

We are proud to have been awarded Gold Star status by the Sustainable Restaurant Association for our holistic approach to sourcing, our impact on local society and the environment. We are one of only 70 or so restaurants in the UK to have this accreditation.
