Extremely friendly team. Compact but very comfortable rooms (we tried two). The beds, linens and products generous and cosy. Plenty of places to unwind and read or play games. Roaring fire and well stocked bar and attentive staff. Dinner and breakfast delicious, locally sourced and interesting combinations of flavours and textures. Will def come back.

We had a lovely stay. The weather was awful but we felt very cosy and relaxed, the ambience and environment in the Gallivant was exactly what we wanted for some …

We had a lovely stay. The weather was awful but we felt very cosy and relaxed, the ambience and environment in the Gallivant was exactly what we wanted for some much needed down time. Food and drinks were great, my other half won’t stop talking about the meal we had one evening, he enjoyed it that much. Would happily go back for another quiet weekend, hopefully the weather will be kinder next time!

The huge bath and super Bamford products were gorgeous and the sleepy tea at bedtime and room …

Had a lovely stay at the super stylish and yet oh so friendly Gallivant.

The huge bath and super Bamford products were gorgeous and the sleepy tea at bedtime and room turn down service was a lovely touch.

All the staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly and the hotel has a lovely feel.

Freshly baked biscuits in the afternoon and wine at 5pm in front of the fire – perfect

We had a lovely stay. The weather was awful but we felt very cosy and relaxed, the ambience and environment in the Gallivant was exactly what we wanted for some much needed down time.
